new hair and rosy cheeks

Hi everyone, i'm still alive...he he.
Life is so busy in our house these days that something had to give, which is why I haven't blogged for nearly a year.
We are all really well, Ruby is thriving at school and still very much enjoying it. Eliza-Grace is a little gem and we are making the most of every second at home before she starts school in September. Jude turned 1 last month....how quickly has that gone!?.....he is such a happy little man, always getting into mischief. It must be a boy thing!! And Pat and I are totally shattered but enjoying our three little munchkins.

Over the last couple of months I've been busy working on some new dolls and giving Doll Face by Jessica Lee a bit of a re-vamp. Please pop over to my folksy or etsy shops to take a look.
I hope you like them, we think they are pretty cool.

mimi jane...custom rag-doll

handmade bag and birth certificate.
ruby giving her a goodbye cuddle!

meet mimi jane a custom rag-doll i made recently. i fell in love with her.
she was a tea dyed dolly...giving her a unique colouring, with goldish hair and sparkly accessories. she wore a leopard print dress made from very fine silk, teamed with a faux fur scarf and a channel inspired bag.
very stylish indeed, but then she was going to the home of another very stylish little lady...so she had to keep up ;)

i  have more information about my dolls on my facebook page, and more pictures to.

doll face by ...me

it dawned on me the other day that i haven't shared anything about my little business venture....
doll face by jessica lee. my handmade bespoke rag-dolls.
in my 'spare' time i love to sew. inspired by the munchkins about a year and a half ago doll face was born. i was desperately searching for a large handmade, pretty rag-doll for ruby lou and after hours on internet trawling i was left disappointed. so i decided to have a go at making her one.

and this is talulah. i loved every minute of making her, and ruby was quite impressed too. since then i have improved my pattern, opened an etsy shop and started selling my dolls.

each doll is handmade and one of a kind, made from cotton and salvage material. they are approx 24" tall which make them fantastic for imaginary play.
i hand embroider their eyes with sparkly thread and each doll comes with its own birth certificate and handmade bag.

so here's a few pics from the studio.
this is Luna a custom made dolly...made for a special big sister from her new baby brother/sister
{they are due any minute...good luck Nad}.
what would i do without mousie?!
my mummy's doll...sitting patiently waiting to be finished!sorry mummy.

hello luna...nice to meet you.

i also have a facebook page....come say hello!
